Skills Support for the Workforce in Stoke & Staffordshire
The Tess Group are offering courses funded by the ESF in Stoke & Staffordshire. Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) is a programme developed to upskill employees within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Stoke & Staffordshire. TESS Group is part of Serco’s network of training providers chosen to deliver the training in your area.
We can work with you to develop a bespoke training programme
relevant to your needs, and because this programme is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) a wide range of training can be accessed at no cost to your business.
Successful team members that are interested would gain a nationally recognised unitised certificate.
What are the benefits?

How the courses are delivered?
The typical short course will be delivered over a 4-5 month duration.
Sessions will be collecting knowledge and competence against the qualifications units
and this will include Observations, Professional Discussions with a trainer and where applicable some Written Questioning. These coaching sessions ensure learners are improving on skills that they have learnt and have embedded these into the workplace.

The funding is to be used to support the employer to grow in the local area. We can offer either full qualifications or units from a selection of qualifications.
Learners need to be employed and can also access the funding if they hold a degree.
This funding is provided for employee progression; this means that all courses need to be used to aid an employees career.
