A day in the life of our Commis Chef Masterclass!
It would be a real missed steak (pun intended) if you didn’t join us on our learners egg-celent start to their Commis Chef journey. We are very lucky to have been joined by our fab trainer Andrew Killip, who is leading the team today at a cookery workshop in London at St. Lukes Community Centre.
Not forgetting that we are delighted to share our experience with the excited individuals from Thomas Frank’s who have joined us to partake in their first masterclass as a part of their Commis Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard.
On todays menu is:
- Fresh Soup (with homemade bread),
- Mushroom and Leek Risotto,
- Spicy Ramen Broth,
- Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagne.
Today we are accompanied with Thomas Frank’s learners who have showcased their skills in cooking by making some amazing dishes. They certainly smell great too! Each individual have evidenced that this training will lead to a promising career as a chef or catering professional. With their day work being chef’s in schools – today they have learnt how to prepare vegetables in a chef like manner; their students will definitely be receiving some gourmet food after this session!
